DFIP Blue Growth Partners — Development Finance & Infrastructure Partners

Africa’s Project Development & Investment Platform

Developing Africa’s Projects.
Transforming Institutions.
Unlocking Opportunity.

DFIP Blue Growth Partners develops investment-ready projects, mobilises finance, advances responsible AI transformation, and implements high-impact programmes that address Africa’s development challenges and create measurable outcomes for communities and institutions.

Our Work

Three connected areas. One purpose: turning opportunity into measurable impact.

01

Project Development & Investment

Turning development opportunities into structured, finance-ready and implementable projects.

02

AgriTech & Climate Resilience

Building digital pathways that connect smallholder farmers to finance, markets, training and resilience opportunities.

03

AI Leadership Transformation

Helping institutions prepare, govern and realise value from responsible AI adoption.

AgriTech

From Farmer Data to Farmer Opportunity.

The Problem

Millions of smallholder farmers are increasingly being registered on digital agricultural platforms, but being registered does not necessarily mean being ready to access finance, insurance, markets or climate-resilience programmes.

Financial institutions, development partners and other service providers can still struggle to determine which farmers meet their requirements, understand their risks and identify what prevents otherwise viable farmers from qualifying. Farmers, meanwhile, may not know why they are excluded from opportunities or what they need to do to become eligible.

DFIP One turns farmer data into opportunity readiness.

DFIP One is an opportunity-readiness and decision-support platform for smallholder agriculture. DFIP One complements existing farmer registries and agricultural information systems by adding an opportunity-readiness layer that helps turn relevant farmer information into pathways to finance, markets and climate-resilience services.

DFIP One

Making underserved farmers opportunity-ready and connected.

Millions of smallholder farmers contribute to Africa’s food systems but remain poorly connected to formal finance and development services, even where they are already known to agricultural or registration systems.

DFIP One creates a reusable Digital Farmer Passport combining relevant farmer, farm, livelihood, production and climate-resilience information—building the foundation for better connections to finance, markets, inputs, training and climate-resilience services.

Smallholder Farmer Opportunity Partnership

Partner With Us to Unlock Opportunity for Smallholder Farmers

An indicative US$25 contribution can support one farmer’s initial DFIP One opportunity-readiness journey.

Across Kenya, many smallholder farmers—particularly women and young people—have the determination and productive potential to build sustainable livelihoods, yet remain disconnected from finance, training, markets and development opportunities because they lack structured, opportunity-ready profiles.

An indicative US$25 contribution can support one farmer’s initial journey with DFIP One—covering consent-based onboarding, farm and livelihood information capture, an opportunity-readiness assessment, creation of the farmer’s Digital Farmer Passport, and identification of the finance, market and climate-resilience readiness gaps that guide appropriate next steps.

Where relevant opportunities exist, DFIP One supports referrals and connection—though eligibility and final decisions always remain with the relevant financial institution, buyer, insurer or programme.

Don’t fund dependency. Fund readiness.

It is about helping farmers build pathways to opportunity, not dependency. When farmers become opportunity-ready, the potential impact can extend to their enterprises, families and communities.

DFIP helps position and connect sponsored farmers to relevant finance, training and market opportunities. Eligibility and final decisions remain with the relevant financial institution, buyer, insurer or programme. Supporting a farmer’s participation does not provide access to that farmer’s personal data—any institutional data access is separately authorised, purpose-limited and consent-based.
